Inspired by two local grade 6 students, JUNCTION HELPS is a community effort to sponsor and settle a Syrian refugee family in our west-end neighbourhood. Sponsorship entails the emotional and financial support of one family for the first 12 months of life in Toronto. In order to meet our considerable goals, we have partnered with Humanity First, a non-profit humanitarian relief organization at the forefront of refugee sponsorship and resettlement in Canada. 

Our first and most pressing priority is fundraising. Humanity First has created a donation page for our group and will issue immediate tax receipts.
