Bourbon Week - Bourbon Derby Ft. Young Running

Toronto Bourbon Week’s closing night party will be a reprisal of the Bourbon Derby, a full-on bourbon extravaganza at 3030 Dundas West.

On Thursday, November 20th, you’ll be able to choose a three bourbon flight from a ‘field’ of 20 specially hand-picked for the Bourbon Derby.  After the selection of your bourbons, you’ll receive a personal, at-table tutored tasting by 3030’s bourbon expert and native Kentuckian Lucas Twyman.

You’ll also have access to a special à la carte menu devised exclusively for the Bourbon Derby, a 3030 Kitchen Battlewith special one-off dishes prepared by the kitchen team, all of them being prepared with bourbon.

In keeping with the Derby theme, you’ll be able to vote for your favourite bourbon during the event, to determine our Bourbon Derby champion (last year’s winner was Elijah Craig).  And as it’s a Kitchen Battle as well, the kitchen team goes head-to-head for menu superiority!

But that’s not all, the night will also feature live music from local band Young Running (sets at 8pm and 10pm).  Young Running blends folk and roots music and you can give a listen to some of their work here and here.

Tickets are $25 (plus service fee) and can be purchased online using the link below.  You must select a seating time (there are seatings at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm or 9pm) so your at-table tutored tasting can be scheduled, but you’re free to stay and enjoy the rest of the event (and more bourbons!) after your tasting.

Last years’ Bourbon Derby was an event for the ages, and not one you’ll want to miss.  Tickets are very limited per seating, so get yours today!
